Ibanez always wanted to serve guitarists from as much music styles as possible. This is probably one of the reasons why they introduced the Ibanez Artcore series in 2002. This series includes semi-hollow and hollow body guitars at very affordable prices. Artcore design was inspired by Gibson and Gretsch and the series itself was meant for blues, jazz and other softer music styles. Although this series has no chances to become iconic guitars among jazz and blues players, it still represents an unbeatable value providing consistently good instruments for relatively low prices.
Most models in this series are being produced in China and they are not handmade. This is the reason why they are relatively inexpensive. And since it’s still Ibanez they still have quite strict production quality control. This is the reason why this series has good quality. All in one Artcore provides really great combination of price and quality.
